We have received reports of guests receiving suspicious messages via WhatsApp, appearing to be from OCHIAIRO or a booking platform, asking them to “confirm” a reservation, re-enter credit card details, or make an urgent payment.

These messages often include real booking details such as your name, dates, and reservation number, which can make them appear convincing.

OCHIAIRO will never contact guests via WhatsApp or any messaging app to confirm a reservation or request payment.

If you receive a suspicious message, please:

・Do not click any links in the message

・Do not enter credit card details or personal information

・Do not reply to the message

Any communication regarding your reservation or payment will only ever come through your official booking confirmation email or a phone call to a number you look up independently (please use the official number listed on our website, not one provided in a suspicious message).
